My name is Chaz Lawson. Over the past year I have dropped 55 pounds, and improved my life both physically and mentally. I have a tremendous support system from parents, family, and friends to my person trainer and my therapist. They have all played important roles in this journey that I hope continues for the rest of my life. The point of this is to document my journey, share the things that I have learned, and hopefully motivate others to make positive changes in their lives.
The most critical thing that I’ve learned is the importance of choices. That seems basic and obvious, but focusing on the choices I make has been been crucial. There’s been major choices such as hiring a trainer and continuing therapy to the daily choice of what I am going to eat or if I’m going to do my cardio that day. A seemingly small choice of putting my shoes on one evening is what changed everything. I will break down that and more as I go, but for now, thank you for reading thus far and I hope you will continue.
